BATTING CHAMPION

So you think one of your players has what it takes to be the Batting Champion? There's only one way to find out.

Some hit for power. Some hit for average. And some hit to move runners over or score them. To be the Batting Champion, you've got to do it all. By measuring a hitter's rankings across five categories, we'll see who the best hitter is by the end of our regular season.

HOW IT WORKS

Using the MLB rankings in five hitting categories - H, XBH, HR, RBI, and BB - players in the top 20 will receive points depending where they rank: 20 pts for #1, down to 1 point for the #20 player. The higher a player ranks in each category, the more points they receive. To be clear, they receive points for their ranking in each category, not for their statistical totals in each category.

For example, last season, Aaron Judge finished #8 in H and received 13 points. He also finished #1 in XBH and HR and received 20 points for each. When you add up all of his final rankings across each of the five categories, he finished 2022 with 92 points.

Get it? Got it? Good.
