Well, that's it, folks. That's all she wrote - except for the Pick 'Em Contest that ends this weekend.
I, for one, thought it was a great season, and I hope you did too. Win or lose, it seemed like everyone had a good time and I certainly enjoyed being back after last season's unexpected hiatus. And, it was certainly fun having our own website this season.
While the Championship Game didn't provide the level of excitement most of us were hoping for, I have no doubts that it featured the two best teams in the league. Congratulations to Chief Sticky Balls for winning their second Sagebrush Cactus Championship!
After winning the championship, Chief Sticky Balls posted that they were going to give me a portion of their winnings as thanks for all the work I've put in this season - I hope the rest of you are taking note. Because of that, our website costs will be covered for the 2020 season at no extra cost to the league members. You should all be sure to add Chief Sticky Balls to you Christmas card mailing list. That was a very kind gesture, Sticky Balls...much appreciated.
In the end, this season appeared to be the year of the Sticky Balls. Though we still have one more weekend left in the Pigskin Pick'Em Contest, they currently hold a 5-game lead over Pork Chop Express. In total, they cleaned house in winning the Championship game, the Golden Ticket Contest, and, barring a catastrophic breakdown, the Pigskin Pick'Em Contest. If you ask me, that's a winning season.
Below is the list of prize winners for this season and I hope you find your team somewhere on this list. If not, please make sure you get your fees submitted ASAP.

I will be coordinating the disbursement of these next week after I audit everything and collect fees still owed from others.
And lastly, please keep your eyes open for an email about future changes to the league. I've discussed a variety of possible changes that I think could make the league even better - if that's even possible. My plan is to draft an outline of these proposed changes and send out a survey to all league members so we can take a vote and see where folks are at and how they feel about them. If you have any ideas of your own, please feel free to share.
I think this season was a success for me. I finished with a 55-34 record in my picks, though I was only 9-9 in my MOTW picks which includes playoff games. Two teams tied for my best pick record - Los Perros Locos and NH Bounty Hunters - at 11-4. The team that gave me the most trouble in my picks was Chief Sticky Balls with a 8-8 record. I'll be sure to have a conversation with them to get that behavior corrected before next season.
My Waiver Wire Team was on bye this week.
Looking forward to next year and thanks again for playing this season!
